Ensuring the highest quality standards
We have an array of quality assurance processes and standards in place:
- Our manufacturing process uses an interlocking weld preparation system to ensure 100% alignment of sections to tolerances <0.25mm. This is four times more accurate than the maximum allowable misalignment specified in AS1554.5.
- Our new wheels and rims, assembled and welded in our local facility, are manufactured in accordance with AS1554.5. This includes all 39”, 45”, 51”, 57” and 63” wheels and rims. Manufacturing to this standard exceeds the weld quality of most original equipment.
- All new wheels and rims are subject to post welding MPI inspection to AS1171 as referred to in AS4457.2007, conducted by trained and experienced personnel. Moreover, the tests are supervised by professionals qualified to AS3998-2006 / ISO9712:2005 and certified by the Australian Institute for Non Destructive Testing (AINDT). These tests are further complemented by an independent UT inspection or x-ray to ensure 100% compliance with AS1554.5.
